STEAM Resources for Lessons

Below you will find some awesome resources for STEAM lessons. I have included Arts Integration Lessons as well as they can be easily modified to be assessed in both the Arts and Science, Technology, Engineering or Math with some ingenuity one teacher or teachers part.

Education Closet has a great resource "Lessons Learned."

With this resource you will have access to Arts Integration lesson by grade level and topic.

Chicago Arts Partnership in Education (CAPE) has resource in their "Classroom Projects."

This site will allow you to search by unit and grade. The site also includes links to the Portfolio Design Project, the International Baccalaureate Teaching Arts Project, and the Partnership for Arts Integration Research Project. The International Baccalaureate Teaching Arts Project is a great resource for finding lessons that integrate Visual Art with Math, Technology, English, Spanish and the Humanities.

The Kennedy Center- ArtsEdge: Lessons

This site allows you to use a Lesson Finder to search their data base to find lessons that are by grade, an art and another subject. Great lessons for STEAM and Arts Integration.

At Every Art, Every Child is a site about curriculum in, about and through the arts. The Art Making section has some great ideas for the Visual Arts.
